Two Parts
The Bible contains two collections. One is called the Old Testament and the other is called the New Testament.
On the chart below, click on the names of the parts to reveal their contents below.
Part 1 is the Old Testament.
Part 2 is the New Testament.
What’s the Difference Between the Two?
The Old Testament (OT) was written from 1400 BC to 450 BC. The New Testament (NT) was written in the first century AD only.
There are 39 books in the OT and 27 in the NT.
We learn a lot from the OT, but we as Christians are under the NT, obligated to practice its teachings today.
